This is the time you need to get exactly what you’ve always dreamed of so get away for some time with me and we’ll focus entirely on that. If you’re unsure what best suits you, or your gorgeous gown, I will happily help you to develop a style that you will be confident in wearing.

Bridal hair trials are by arrangement only, normally available Tuesday – Friday or on a Saturday afternoon.

Bring a camera so you can photograph yourself in natural and artificial lighting.

Hello, I’m Laura Mackenzie

I was 14 when I first dreamt of becoming a hairdresser, and having learned my trade in a very well-respected local salon I am now proud to have worked as a successful freelance stylist for over 20 years!

It was the creativity of hairdressing that first attracted me to the industry, and it’s why I still love it what I do. Every day and every client is different; it’s a joy to be always learning, meeting new people, working with other wedding industry professionals and taking on new challenges.

Bridal hair is my speciality; the importance of getting the right look for each bride, complementing her individual style, her dress and the type of venue she has selected is paramount.

All eyes are on the bride, and I feel a huge responsibility for her feeling totally confident as she joins the love of her life for one of the biggest occasions of her life! All my experience and love of hair styling goes into creating the ‘dream’ look, helping to take the stress out of wedding preparations.
